Paper on France

I have to type a 2 page paper on the Social, Economical, and Political part of France which needs to be atleast 5 paragraphs long. I already have a few websites on france that will help me out but if anyone has any sites that would help me out with these 3 topics and is pretty good info that would be good to type, please post the links.

best advice I would give is ensure you view "socialist" politcal viewpoint as well as mainstream "english" sites to ensure you manage to grasp and explain the concepts of "Equalitie, Egalitie et Fraternitie". Cos without it its difficutl to describe French attitudes internally and internationally.

Watch out and don't bnelieve the bit about "imminent danger" and WMDs

Personaly I woudlnt' use that cia site for anything other then the economical NUMBERS as for the UK it states
contained the growth of social welfare programs
speeding up the improvement of education, transport, and health services, at a cost in higher taxes.
so is it containing them or speeding them up ??

Thanks for the info, but where can i find out like what they eat and like what kinda clothing they wear cause everythings coming out pretty good but im having trouble with the social part of the paper

go to a French site and if your French isn't up to it run it through bablefish

Go to the library - that funny old building that keeps odd things called books and look up "the rough guide to france" a great book series for anyone considering travelling or wanting info on a country.

You might find it on-line or a rip-off of it.

BUT France is many regions all with different identity and culture.
It is hard to quantify the country just as it would be to try the same for the US or Australia

for clothes etc you'd be as well to visit an on-lien French store and see what is sold But dont' be too surprised to fidn it's not al lthat different to all the other first-nation states around the world - or do you think we all wear kilts in Scotland
