    Audi- somewhat, but there is a bit of difference between the TT => A4 => A8
    Citroen- I guess, but we don't get Citroen here so it doesn't bother me.
    Mercedes- Don't think so: CLS => S => SLK/SLR => E => G
    Ferrari- somewhat, there is a bit of change between the 360 and the enzo and a lot of change between the 355/612 => 360/430/Enzo

    Now, Porsche:

    I think so: S = E = C
    SLR is SL on XTC, SL is big SLK
    I think Koenigsegg is Swedish for: "Oh no, my head's just exploded!"

    I agree about the others but not Ferrari. Take a look. You can easily tell the difference between the 575, 430 and Enzo from any angle. I was also gonna post a pic of the 612 but didn't have any on my HD. Kinda surprised

    It seems as if all Porch (hah) designers do is a "let's add a little vent here and a line across the quarter panel" and just changes an angle or two.

    ok, but you have to admit that front and rear lamps of f430, 612 and enzo look quite similar. wait until the new maranello comes out, i bet it'll look same too

    thats just marketing talk. they needed a hardtop smaller and cheaper than the 911 to challenge the m3/s4/clk55/slk55....

    they just want another slice of the pie

    Porsches have the engines mounted in the back of the car, in small space so the cooling is verry important, i don't think they "just add a little vent here" to just add it, it's German engineering, remember EVERYTHING's functional...

    Ok, so if the engine is in the back, then they're not allowed to change the taillights or the roofline? If the front is just the boot then they could model it however they want, but they choose to make clones.

    True but those are small similarities. If you look at ANY new Porsche, you can clrearly see a 911 in all of them They're great cars, but the styling is getting predictable

    That's maybe true, but for me, when a new 911 is launched it's kind of exciting to see how the designers re-interpretated the old 911 design for the new version, not?
    And the 911 keeps selling, so I think till now, Porsche has done their homework very well...
