    Jag XJ220 vs DB9

this is not a performance poll - i just saw that both of these sell for around $320,000AUD, and was wondering which you would go for if you had the money.
i'd go for the DB9 simply because its newer and looks good (great exhaust too), but the performance of the XJ220 is tempting...
    damn i wish i had $320K

I would definitely go for the DB9.
I think the Xj220 is one of the ugliest supercar ever made.

I would say XJ220. We don't have many Aston Martins in Finland, but an XJ220 would be something really exotic.

One thing to be caring for when you are spending $320K is that with the Jag you will lose less money than with the newer DB9. Plus that XJ220 is lot more exclusive than the Aston and has (a lot) better performance. If I had another car it would be the Jaguar, as a first car the more practical Aston Martin.

I voted for the XJ, assuming that it still possible to find unsold examples with zero mileage

XJ220 is a 100% supercar that once was the fastest road going car of all, so definately XJ220. DB9 is for old people

i think it is, or at least engine with very old mileage. i was told some examples still remain at the factory?
i'd love to beat yuppi lamborghini/porsche owners in a car they probably never heard of, but considering how often i get to drive over 120km/h i'd take the aston for its sound and looks

XJ220, no questions. Looks letter, goes harder, more exclusive and it gives hope to other motorists.. turbo lag! "Look honey, I'm beating that Jag!" "What Jag?" "I swear, there was one there!" Yes, I stole that from JC, but he was talking about the F40.
