I think Koenigsegg is Swedish for: "Oh no, my head's just exploded!"

No offence, but the Delta (Integrale especially) will be a very hard act to follow, and I am confident this will be a disappointment when compared/released.
I think once cars go out pf production then they shouldnt come back. For example the Delta Inegrale was one hell of a car but this concept doesnt looks as if it will have the Intregrale's driving dynamics this will tarnish the reputation of the Delta.
I'm intrigued Clique, how you can determine "driving dynamics" from a picture.
Are there more details on the car out there somewhere ?

hmm, it's too soft for me. reminds me more lancia musa than a rally car
12 cylinders or walk!
I think the main problem with the car is that it shouldn't be called the "New Delta", because it will be automically compared to the old car (and most probably will fail), it should be called something different to at least try to avoid this "direct" competiton.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
mmmm..... I like it.... nicer looking than a golf... which will be its main competitor...
HEY SMURF, HEY SMURF, HEY SMURF PUT THAT BOOM IN IT!!!
never been too sure on these Lancia front grilles...but otherwise, doesn't seem to be too bad looking..would much rather have the original over it tho
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.
Being nice since 2007.
its main problem being the added weight due to all sort of safety features and comfort enhancing electronicsOriginally Posted by Ferrer

how the hell could that even live up to the legend, it looks like an SUV, its horrible. Sort of looks like a Seat Leon. An insult to the rally legend we all know and love.
This is another issue, not related necessarily to the sales succes of the car, which is what Lancia is after with this car. Futhermore all the comments that it doesnt' stack up to the legend are just proving my point.Originally Posted by henk4

heres what seems to be the conceptual basis for this car (or where lancia's styling is headed).
There were other deltas made that sucked. Here is one from '98, the HPE.
as long as they dont call it or make an Integrale, Evo or HF version then its just another small city car, theres nothing bad about that. but its too bad they didnt try and make it better.
shameless self-plug, made this a while ago...

Le dessin est très "classe"
The punto would make a good rally car, the golf/focus sized cars are getting way too lardy. You can squeeze a 2.0 ltr engine with turbo/ supercharger and 4wd into a fiesta sized car easy nowadays...
The designer can make the car look exiting and classy and sporty if they want to, the integrale was a legend because it looked so stylish as well as being cheap(ish) and very quick. Maggiora worked with fiat back in 1994 after the demise of the integrale production and came up with the concept Gramma2...... not bad for an 11 year old design, with sophisticated 4wd, 2.0 ltr turbo power would have been exiting.....

It's competed in the Super1600 rally class for a few years now.....Originally Posted by D2LTA
Sadly results showed it did NOT make a very good rally car
