    Because the pictured car is clearly a product of the 1950s. This is long after Lorraine & Diettrich ceased production and Bugatti produced less than 10 cars after the War.

    No no, Amilcar went out of business before this car was built as well.

    hmm, a hard one. The rough state of the bodyqork makes me think it may have been rebodied during it's racing career and there is a hint of VERITAS in the lines. COudl it be a race-damaged-repaired-locally one ??

    For what it's worth, it looks like it may be a kitbashed homebuilt "special" to me. I agree that it looks French.

    the pic is name Le Calibre... if that helps
    It seems auto union- and blue so it must be a private french version.
