It sucks the wang. Why didn't they just keep the old batmobile ?

Because Batman Begins is how he becomes Batman. The stuff he has is basically modified military issue from Wayne Industries. If he came out right away with lots of badass weapons and cars, would that make a whole lot of sense?

Lets think about this guys, I think you are missing the point of the vehicle. he has to fight bad guys, and they can cause all sorts of destruction, doesn't anyone think that this is just a tad more practical? I mean he has to be going around everywhere to get where he needs to and such and beat the bad guys, this can go anywhere and still be fast. I think thats better than just going fast and looking cool.
