He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

That looks like a Paxton supercharger, which fits nicely under a hood, I say chop.

    1) Looks like hood goes under the untake tube, making it impossible to open.
    2) Perfectly vertical line (not likely in a photo) looks "odd"
    3) This area looks like it could be real, the opening looks correct.
    4) Looks like there is no gap in the opening around the tube, impossible to open hood.

Overall, chop. but good at first look.

But maybe he just assumed that all of us would assume that ^^^.

I personally thought it was a real picture right away, but because of what johnnyperl pointed out I think its a chop.

mmm... there's a reflex on the bumper of someone taking the picture... why would you take a picture of a 1999 mustang if there were nothing extraordinary about it. also i saw the broken fibergass

So you noticed it too, that someone really took the picture.

But that's a good point, why would anyone take a picture of an ordinary Mustang. Oh well, I have taken some pictures of my rusty '90 Corsa and I bet that there's a lot less extraordinary in it than in any Mustang. So maybe the photographer is the owner of the car.

Like JP says, if it was all fastened in (assuming it's actuually plumbed in and not just stuck to the bonnet for show) there'd be no way of lifting the bonnet without dismantling the unit. So I'm going for chop.

I hadn't actually seriously considered that option... I figured nobody would be THAT stupid...

Aww crap. Now I just don't know. I tried working out if the lighting is wrong or not, but I'm not clever enough to do it. Next plan was figure out whether or not somebody would actually sit and make a chop like that. Then I just kinda figured I don't know that either. So then my last resort was simply "does it look right?" which made me decide no. It looks lassood on the left hand side and it looks like there some rod or something coming off that bit at a downwards diagonal which just kinda stops.

So my final verdict is still chop, but less confidently so.
