I have been using the Mr.Clean system for a few months now and have to say that it works everytime. There's a special filter that filters your water of any impurities (these impurities are responsable for the white spots left behind when the water evaporates). As for the drying time, for my car it takes about 20-25 minutes. Brought down my washing time from 2 hours to about 50 min. all that without leaving those damn white spots. I fully recommend this product.

Everytime I wash mine I get milky puddles. The paint is coming off it's so old and f*cked. The layer under the blue is yellow. Can't afford to fix it, so I just don't wash it very often, but when I do it's just some car washing suds stuff. On the other car I use the cheapest bottle of 'smear on, let dry, rub off' stuff I can find, three times a year.

My dad is really fanatic about washing his car he washes it atleast once a week and polishes it once/twice a month not much time left in the weekends to drive it he is the most fanatic car washer I have ever met when he washes it, he uses water first to make the car wet.then he gets water with special soap (prepared mixing a couple of household soaps : ) and wets the car with it.then he washes it, and gets more water to clean of the soap. then he uses a towel or something i dont know the translation of to dry it this takes over 2 hours to do
