Oh no, reviving old threads with relevant posts is quite welcomed here, I just can't believe I ever used to:

The Road Tough 1/18th scale Cobra 427 is ok for the money, you can buy them for about £30.00. I have one in my collection, infact this was the first Cobra model I bought about 15 years ago.

You can buy them made by other manufacturers also, exactly the same detail and castings.

I am faced with a similar situation. I did make a 1/16 AMT kit of a 427 once.

I have also built the 1/16th scale AMT Cobra 427,infact I built two of them.

The Kit was made by MPC originally ,then Airfix made it using the same castings, then AMT made it.

I have also got the Airfix version still in its box.

I have also got the 1/24th scale Revell Dragonsnake Cobra 427 and the Revell 1/24th scale 289 FIA Cobra to build.

I also have a 1/24th scale resin 289 FIA Cobra to build,I can not remember off the top of my head who its made by now.

Marsh Models 1/43 scale Flip Top Cobra.

Walldorf 1/87 scale Cobra, possibly the smallest Cobra model made ?

Monogram 1/43 scale Cobra 289 , the detail on this kit is fantastic.

WIX 1/24 th scale Cobra 427 as, used in the Elivs Presley Movie " Spinout"
    Excellent value for money.

Harold, can you try to use the attachment system for posting pictures? That keeps the loading speed within reasonable limits.

Well at least now there's no confusion as to why everyone here hated me then.

Go the reply button, under Addtional Options, you will find a button "manage attachments"
That gives you the option to upload 6 pictures (not larger than 1MB) per post. Just "open" each picture on its location on your computer, and when done use the "upload" button. You will a list of attached pictures when upload is completed. To make sure try " preview post" first.
