The front looks pretty good along with the rear, I can't say I like the side much. The enlarged fenders catch my eye to much, they just stand out way to much than they should. The S600 gives out 517hp!! Thats insane!! Is that what last years S had for a 600 engine??

Yes, the current S65 AMG has 612 HP. What about the new one? Like 650 HP?!

    I think it looks nice.

But the rear lights Scream Fiat Brava.

Hmm, in the first pic one can notice an occluded peice of plastic in front the center of the grille. It's a bit strange looking.
    What's that for?
The old S-Class, after being refreshed in 2003, started to have some black plastic integrated behind the grille in that area as well.
What purpose does this plastic serve?
Anyone else think it looks a little weird on the new S-Class?

I'm guessing that the plastic part in the grill is probably a support for the hood "hook"

Well, all I can see is a really big cross-breed of a Civic(sedan) and a maybach. Don't blame them though, they are 'the future of the automobile.'
The new S-Class will defintely kick every competitor out of the way. I can't wait for an AMG version.

I don't think so.. the A8 still gets all my votes specially the new one with the Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The new S lost it's personality and became a common car with no face or atractivness.

    Just my opinion obvioulsy

the car is a good car but in it's classa no 1 can basically beat it in style. in sped i think the car needs more work to be put into it. the engineers who builds the car needs an idea about how to fit in more speed dan only luxary bc dat car is 1 of the top car in it's class and if no 1 can beat dat car den it's good. the S class is nice but somehow there is sopmething different about it dan the normal 1. any other views ne1 has?
