You Might Be A Redneck If You Drive...

Saw this today in the July issue of Road & Track p 42, along with several other hilarious stories, this was the best.

"Ontario, Canada, Provincial Police stopped a truck that belonged to a mechanic. As reported in the Kitchener-Waterloo Record, the 1977 propane-powered pickup had a hole in the floor large enough for a child to fall through, no front or rear bumpers, no taillights and no rear brakes, a cracked windshield, a left-front headlight and turn signal ready to fall off, a bad muffler, an unbolted propane tank and no door handles. To exit, the driver had to force down a window and wriggle out. The owner had no insurance, and faces fines of up to $16,000."

When is it time to start thinking about getting a new car? Maybe when the floor falls out its a good sign you need a new vehicle.

I was gonna say, too bad they didn't post his name...so our Canadian members never take their cars to this dude...or his kids who have surely inherited his business

most mechanics usually have the worst cars though. You just spent all day/week working on other peoples cars. why would you want to work on your own? I hate working on computers at home coz its all i do at work
