Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap gravel traps in a single bound.
Look! Up in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Murph Man.
Yes, Murph Man – a strange V8 Supercar driver from another country who went to China with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
Murph Man, who can change the course of races, bend sheet metal in his bare hands and who, disguised as Greg Murphy, a mild-mannered driver for the great V8 Supercar team Super Cheap Auto Racing, fights a never-ending battle for pole positions, race wins and the V8 Supercar title…
Having spun a web around his rivals in his Spiderman car when he won Bathurst last October, Greg Murphy is again finding himself aligned with one of his favourite superheroes, this time Superman after Murphy’s Super Cheap Auto Racing Commodore took to the skies like the man of steel in race two at the recent round in Shanghai, China.
But unlike Bathurst where good prevailed over evil, the Shanghai International Circuit’s now-notorious gravel trap proved to be Murphy’s kryptonite, inflicting serious damage to his car and immediately ending his race.
