It is also the coolest city car in Europe.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

I'm presuming there are more tests than that than just those 3? Because if not, then there are quite a few cars in that result there that beat the 1007 in points.

It is also ridiculously expensive for such a small car
I think Koenigsegg is Swedish for: "Oh no, my head's just exploded!"

Wow! Way to "own" the capri in the last pic! Reminds me of the good ol 240 Volvos made of just steel and concrete.

A car being tough only ads to the danger of it's occupants. Cars are softer this days so they can absorb the impact. Imagine you were driving a car entirely made of concrete: every small chock would have an immense impact on your body.
Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.

There was a test done on Fifth Gear sometime last year where a 2004 Renault Espace and a 1994 Renault Espace were crashed head on.
The new Espace is a five star NCAP car, the older car probably a two star. Anyway, the "dummies" in the old Espace would have been killed and the ones in the new Espace would have walked away. I forget speed of crash, but it was higher than the NCAP 35 miles per overlap test. I think it was 40 mph. The airbags in the new Espace did not even go off.
The conclusion was that the new car was obviously much safer. However, because new cars have to be extremely stiff in some parts of the chassis/body, and very soft in other parts, the overall effect meeting 5-star NCAP standards was that the new Espace was much more aggressive than the older car. Effectively, the older car did all the absorbing of the energy on behalf of the newer car.
We often talk about how aggressive 4WDs are towards the cars they hit. It appears that a 5-star NCAP car is very aggressive towards a similar size older car as well - and much more aggressive than any smaller car it hits. If two similar size 5-star NCAP cars hit each other, than they are equally aggressive towards each other.
Also, interesting to note in that test that the computers monitoring the crash forces didn't believe the forces of the crash on the 2004 Renault Espace were enough to warrant firing any of the airbags.
UCP's biggest Ford Sierra RS500 and BMW M3 E30 fan. My two favourite cars of all time.
