    Chevrolet Corvette L82 (1980)

Ok well my friends dad has one of these (hasnt been driven in a decade, just sits in a garage as its paint fades ) and i wanted to request all of the basic specifications on it. (Curb weight, hp, tq, 1/4 and 0-60 if you have, more welcome). Thanks.

BTW: I DID look it up but got a bunch of different answers, so figured you guys ought to know.

for a 350CI engine, it is horridly underpowered
He came dancing across the water

    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

You'd have to beef up the chassis and put an LS2 in there, just to make sure you didn't get laughed off the road with those figures...

About the power, the early 80s were the dark age of the vet for power, but i just love teh style. The HP/weight is HORID (it has decent tq tho). I was thinkin because he doesnt drive it or even look at it, i might offer a few grand, respray it gloss black, but a new small block chevy in it (same size, 2 or 3 times the power, lol (the block is starting to rust on the top, not bad but its startin to)). The interior is a little F-117, recovering from teh 70s for my style, but its to much of a hassle and $$$$$$$$$$$44 to get a new dash so **** it. High dash, low window, i love it. . Another thing i like is the removable tops over your head, pretty unique.

EDIT: If it was a high lift DOCH, the 5.7 would have a butt load more power. lol
