This is one of the great cars of the world, i would drive it forever, what more could you want classic beautifull looks and modern mecanics, it's very very special

Wow, what a fantastic car. It's the best of both worlds: old-school design and looks and new school technology. I want one!!!

The guy who owns this also has a one-off "Volga" based on a Mercedes S65 IIRC.

I had some pictures of it somewhere, but they are tiny.

It looks a lot more contemporary than this one though.
    Thanks for all the fish

I read an article about it in Car and Driver a year ago, and they were talking about how so many people contacted them to have one build, and they just refused. As far as I know, there are only 2 or 3 in existance (I could be wrong). So bringing something like this to the US is next to impossible.

i thought it was only one built? and that they denied people asking for the same car because these people 'lacked imagination'

That's too bad. That's a very hot car. I'd bet it would sell. Best of both worlds. Classic styling and modern running gear.
