    Silverstone Classic

This weekend Ultimatecarpage.com's European Correspondents can be found around the Silverstone track for the Silverstone Classic. From Friday morning until Sunday evening, there will not be a quiet moment. Never has there been such a wide variety of Formula 1 and pre war Grand Prix cars assembled in one weekend, which will range from the 1930s up until the last of the DFV F1s in the 1980s.

For more information including the start lists check out the event's site at www.silverstoneclassic.com.

Will any of our British members visit the event as well? If you do have the time, this event has an entry list rivalling the Goodwood events, but with proper racing.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

Of course the event will be fully covered on Ultimatecarpage.com.

We can also advise that your correspondent has now reached the age where his entry to the British pub system is legally allowed, so members caring to buy him a drink will be remembered in his evening prayers
