This was the trump card in my old auto trumps game When I was a child, my younger brother was always so outraged when I got it since it had the highest to speed in the game (353 km/h). I have to say that some times I shuffled the cards in a manner that I'd get it . Ah, fun times.

Nice colour combination... Right?
I think this colour combination will be completely wrong on many cars. But on this EB10 SS it looks pretty good.
This car is the second master piece of the Campogalliano history, after the Paris presentation GT 005 car. GT 008 is not a real Supersport version but an EB110 GT prototype used as a cosmetic mule for the Supersport version. For the first time, side mirrors show their definitive shape (mirror arm shorter and inclined rearwards), the GT front bumper has the same design but volumes are quite differents, the rear spoiler and the "window in window" system are in definitive configurations. In the same way, the GT 008 BBS rims will be use for the production version of the Supersport, as the interior and the rear lights with thin stripes. Contrariwise, the sill's door is still high, typical from early GT prototypes. More, the body front panel rear the front wheel has not the vertical opening for brake aeration, characteristic of production SS models, the lateral plate rear the lateral window has 9 holes instead of the 5 ones for the definitive model, the rear window is a translucid plate with 2 giants Naca air intakes, the back air wing is a static one, with a central dual pods. More, the front spoiler is not a definitive Supersport one since it lacks the side deflectors.
The EB110 SS (SS for Supersport but the term Sport Stradale also appeared in official Bugatti booklets) is the lightweight version of the standard GT, with 200 kg less on the weighing balance and 50 hp more. The supersport version is the star of many magazines and photoshoots in 1992. During its early life, the #39008 prototype is characterized by 4 screw holes on the front bonnet's corners.
