    purely elegant

i can't agree with some of the statements above though, some of these cars look really great but they're too brutal to be elegant, like 330 P3. it's a great looking car, but not elegant at all

This is 2005, incase you hadn't noticed.

The CLE may exist in the Mercedes' design studio somewhere, but the chances that it looks anything like the dodgy photoshop you posted are slim.

Thus, the picture you posted is a figment for someone's inmagination. Not a real car.

    QED Imaginary car.

Well, there are plenty of elegant cars around. My personal favourites include the SL500, DB7, XK8 and Seat Tango. Those are supremely beautiful, but the original Jaguar XJR was probably the most graceful saloon ever. It looked like someone had poured the bonnet on, not bolted it.

The design cues are unashamedly 1930s France. For this classic European grand tourer, with its abundance of sporting character, emanates from an era when stylish design, refinement and comfort were just as important as performance.

Indeed, the Devaux captures the essence of some of the world's finest cars and those who know their automotive history can readily identify elements of the famous coupés of the late 1930s - like the Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Lungo or the Bentley 41/4 litre Streamline
Debuted in 2004, the Devaux Coupé is quite moderately priced for what it is, uses smooth 4 litre I-6 Falcon powertrain so goes well for a cruiser, and turbo-6 & V8s do fit

I think it looks pretty decent, impressive first-up automotive effort from young designer with low budget. More pics, video etc from Devaux webpage gallery HERE

I am way to pissed (family has been on my bad side recently.....biiiig time) to go look for it, but Pagani Zonda. It just IS. First time I saw it, it was like seeing a beautiful nature scene, having a weird sort of orgasm, AND sheer beauty all at once. For me at least, hahahahah. But yeah, most of you know what a 7.3S looks like, and the rest of you are going to have to look it up, as this is not my computer, and I don't have car pictures on here.

EDIT: Damn I feel stupid, definitely need more sleep. Ok, elegancy? The DB9 flows pretty nicely, I'd say.

You must be a genius. Re-read the opening thread, and then re-read my quote.

Okay gonzo and coventry stop arguing. If that is a concept car and not just a photoshop design it counts, doesnt matter if it wont go into production until 2007.
If its just a drawing, like Coventry said, its very realistic looking I really can't tell.

Anyway the original thread did say most elegant design, but I wasn't really looking for artist's concepts, only full size rolling concepts, or actual production/racecars.
