I agree that certain details pertaining to the type of comparo should be added. In every case I think at the very least a picture must be added.

But what if the comparo is about a bunch of cars' looks and nothing more? Surely performance stats can then be ommitted? Yes, it would probably make for more interesting reading, but some cars just don't have stats...

Therefore, IMO pics (and preferably high-res pics) should be the bare essential to submit when it comes to comparos.

its a good idea and i voted good but what if the get get the info wrong? people should still do research of their own if their not sure if the info is correct so that they can make an accurate decision.

There shouldn't be any required criteria- some threads are about looks, other about performance in a straight line, and other about track performance/turning.

The rule should be that when you make a thread you should CLEARLY state what you are comparing (not just which is better, faster).

Then you should include the basic info for that comparison

styling- lots of hi res pics from different angles

Straight line- hp,torque, weight, engine disp. and style (v8, I6, etc.) 0-60, 0-100, top speed, price, and make sure numberfs are not compared between stock tires and race tires

Track- track times at the ring or other tracks, lat gs, weight, hp/tq, price

Of course missing one of these is not a big deal, but most should be included. also, you should always include any relevant info and post a few pics

Sure anythings better than "whats better, R33 or R34?" but you cant expect people to know all these little details about the car(s)

I agree with FPV, just give basic specs and a picture, and delete any 'Skyline vs. Supra"type threads created by nwebies, because that topic has been posted 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 0,000,000,000,000,000,000 times!
