Thomas Herrion, a Guard for the San Francisco 49ers collapsed in the Locker Room after a game, the team medical staff looked closely at him, and they shipped hit off to a hospetal, he was then pronounced dead there. Nobody knows why he dies, so that probilly means that the otopsy hasn't been done yet, even though I expect it to happen in a few days.

It's sad to hear. It's hard to believe that a top athlete like him had a health problem and the team doctors failed to diagnose it earlier...

Wow, that sounds awful... And about he heartproblems, he may had them. In the last couple of years different soccer players died due to these kind of problems. But I'm sure the autopsy will clear things up.

UPDATE!
they said that it will take 4-6 weeks to find the cause of death.
Also, they said that a family member who was on the Minnisota Vikings, died of heat stroke in training camp a few years ago.

Indeed. It's honoring to die doing what you loved to do, but it's still sad that he didn't make his way to retirement.
