The McLarens were just awesome the whole week really, especially Montoya. On Wednesday he set what was the fastest top speed ever recorded at Monza, an astonishing 367km/h!!!

Webber and Button both looked VERY quick too, a suprise given Williams' recent dreadful form. It could make things interesting if any BARs, Williams or Ferraris manage to get in amongst the Renaults in the upcoming races and take some points off Alonso. Although at Monza Raikkonen's biggest challenge could be getting ahead of his team mate. Montoya was fastest at every single session I think, and Raikkonen couldn't really live with his pace.

Webbers pace did raise an eyebrow with me, but given other considerations, such as Heidfelds pace and the fact its just testing, Williams are still off the pace (Williams fastest lap with Webber was still 1 second off McLarens fastest lap from Montoya). I'd like to see what speeds him and Nick were getting though, given the engine and their relative high amount of drag, they cant afford to have either fail...
