    Bentley Flying Spur

Fast, luxurious, more fun to drive than all the others, almost same engine as Audi and VW(just has twin turbos), and almost half the price of the Maybach.

If the Phaeton was exactly the same except with an Audi badge on it, you guys would be all over it.

Damn shame that they made it though. I can't believe Piech actually thought it might succeed.

A8 wins, though this thread is a bit stupid, you don't really go into this market looking for value for money. And the best luxury sedan of any has gotta be CLS 55 AMG or HSV Grange with APS TT kit

If I had the money i'd go for the Phaeton. Doesn't make me look like a rapper or a drug dealer, etc is extremely well built and equipped, and has incredible levels of refinement.

You have to seperate these in 2 groups
Group 1 being a class lower then 2 in price and as a status symbol

I'll have the VW, the W12 is a wonderfull engine and the whole car is such a nice understatement everybody thinks O just a passat, accelerate and they think: Huh! It's a very discreet car with all the luxury's of the other options

and in the other group I'll have the Phantom It's in a class of it's own, when it drives it looks like it's floating plus looks better then both the Bentley and the Maybach

    VW Phaeton W12 - $96 600
    Audi A8 6.0 W12 - $117 400
    BMW 760Li - $117 400
    Mercedes-Benz S-Class S600 Bi-T - $127 950
    --------------
Bentley Continental Flying Spur -$165 000
    Rolce-Royce Phantom - $328 750
    Maybach 57 - $324 500

I recently had a 20 minutes ride behind the wheel in a Spur, and it is undeniably very fast. But once you have epxerienced that it is just a car that does everything very well and nicely, but I can imagine that boredom will set in after a very short period. I already found not much was happening after 15 minutes. (there were two Bentley girls sitting in the back of the car to lead the way, otherwise I might have been tempted to some experimenting ).

Nevertheless, obviously the Maserati QP has again been omitted from this contest for no reason and why is the Jaguar/Daimler not in there? These cars should be in if you also allow the Phaeton or the A8.

Audi and VW suffer from frightening depreciation and you'll probably end up as poor as if you bought the Rolls. BMW is Bangled. Im not a huge fan of Mercs. Bentley Flying Spur for me after the review i read on it. Completley different to the Passat GT .. I mean Continental GT
