[DISCLAIMER]: If you come to this thread with the sole purpose of flaming NASCAR, then please stay out.

So, with one race to the chase, and with 3 or 4 people on the bubble, who do you think has the best chance of getting in, and who do you see winning it.

I myself am a Gordon fan, but he's been so inconsistent this year, I doubt he'll pull it out. Along with that, he has the fastest car in both practice sessions, but when race-day comes, it's absolute shit. I'm getting fed up with the team and w/ Robbie Loomis and the crew.

I see Jarrett and Harvick out, and 8-13 are gonna be a real agressive battle next week. Richmond will be great watching the last 3 spots moving around, which oughtta make for some great racing. I agree Gordon has had a really bad year, having some really good races and a lot of bad ones, These last two years have really changed the sport, with the likes of Edwards, Kahne, Biffle, Kyle Busch and the all the other youngs guys coming up fast. ItI think next few years will be really good, I have a feeling a lot of the older guys in the top 20 will be moving on, I could see Marlin, Rudd and Jarrett gone in '07. It's a toss up of good and bad, lots of talent will be moving in I hope. I'm guessing this will be the Top 10 after Richmond: (the last three might get mixed around)

I see Johnson winning the Cup. With the streak her had last year, I can deffintly see that again. Oddly enouh if Mayfield could get a late win, his consistancy could give him a great shot. I just hope its not a Roush.....

I'm thinking: 1. Stewart, 2. Johnson, 3. Biffle, 4. Wallace, 5. Martin, 6. Busch, 7. Edwards, 8. Mayfield, 9. Kenseth, 10. Newman. I think Gordon may pull this out of his ass though.

On the other hand, if he doesn't, not making the chase may help him. His team's been in a huge slump since Week 10, and not having any pressure on the team will lead to riskier strategy, different methods, and maybe a rebuilt confidence.

He left about five years ago, used to drive for Roush I believe, #99 Exide car. Excellent short track racer. BTW Rock, you have Edwards in your Top Ten twice.
