    The spoiler is on at last . Also got one of the skirts on. Only the wing mirrors, plates, and a couple of other bits to go now

    Does mixing paint with thinner make the painting surface more even?

    paint should be running smoothly, if not thin it, in partivular when applied with a brush, and in particular when applying acrylics which tend to dry much faster than enamels. Don't overdo it though, otherwise the paint will not cover properly but run away to the edges.

    I c. Does this mean put an equal amount of paint as the amount of thinner?

    that really depends on the fluidity of the paint itself. If it is already thick you add a little more thinner. There is no fixed rule for that.
