    Odd Phone Question

Im trying to phone someones mobile (Orange) from my home phone, but everytime I try, it says "This is the Orange Answerphone Service. The person you are phoning is unavailable" or something like that. Ive been trying to phone her for 4 days in a row now. She has her mobile on, with signal and hasnt been talking to other people when I've phoned. I even left a message on the answerphone and she didnt get it. And Ive made sure its the right number. Can anyone think of why this happens?

Its getting annoying because I have to arrange for her to phone me if we just wanna chat

maybe she doesn't really wanna talk to you.

not really. I've gone for days without getting messages left by someone. I figured it out though. I have to turn my phone off every night, then charge, or some incoming calls will be missed and I won't recieve any messages. I'm on Verizon, though. I don't know what the deal is, but maybe that would help.

Cyon models tend not to hit even Europe, only a few ever making it

yeah, I have an LG VX4500 (free with two-year agreement) and its crap. Now, one of my best friends has a VX6100(I think) camera phone and it works great....service is outragous. I cannot get reception in any of the buildings at the college because of their wireless system, she has a full signal....maked me envyous until she told me she paid almost $200 for it...

    heh ??

You stopped being envious because her $200 phone WORKED and your cheap POS didn't ?

I think I'm missing the purpose of having a mobile phone
Do you like to just carry it around and look "cool" but don't make calls ??

Take the POS phone BACK. It's failed to be "fit for purpose". Get your money back. Get a decent phone - they dont' NEED to cost $200 but of course it depends how much they can suck you into monthly contract !!!
