excuse me, you do know that alot of people on this forum are quite well off...dont you? of course you did, any way, i have enough for one, i choose not to blow it on an overrated p.o.s. and instead get something that shows taste, or as par current, not spend it at all.

if you still think we're poor, i refer you:

    my neighbours:
    #1:
    maserati quattroporte (new one)
    jaguar s-type r
    porsche 928

    #2:
    mercedes sl55 amg
    bmw z8
    bmw 750
    bmw 760
    bmw 745
    ferrari 575 gtc
    new viper
    mini cooper s
    dodge ram
soon to be getting an f430

    #3:
    new 911 turbo

    #4:
    new 911 turbo s cabriolet
so, based on that does it not sound like ferrari owner potential? in fact, the 575 gtc costs over $100,000 more than the 430

if you think your such the millionaire extroardinaire, lets see what you drive

Ferrari road cars were always meant only to fund Ferrari racing. The cars they make are selling, and they spend more money in F1 than any other team. So they're meeting their purpose. This is different from Aston, whose purpose is to provide incredibly fast luxury cars, or Koenigsegg, who makes the world's fastest road cars. Before you say Ferraris suck, consider why they're being built and how well they're doing that. If Ferrari's market is rich snobs who can't drive, then they need to build cars for rich snobs who can't drive in order to fund their racing.

But that wasnt their market in Ferraris heyday when they made cars that were actually worth getting excited about. And just because a car sells many units, does that mean its good? The only reason Ferraris sell is because of the badge really. And we have already argued that point to death!

sure some of their latest designs arent the prettiest, but how can one improve on such things as the GTO, Dino , Daytona.......its extremely difficult to overcome those designs, jaguar hasnt done it, neither has benz.

if anything, the new Ferraris are the better than ever. They offer sensational performance with an overall incredbile package. In the past they were critisized for their build quality, compromised dynamics and so-so performance and now that they have all the ingredients, their ridiculed for being snoby peoples rich cars. Many down to earth rational ferrari owners will tell you why they baught their cars.

They are not the fastest in a line, in a corner, on the drag, not the most expensive, exclusive, prettiest cars available. They offer all those factors in one pleasing, rather balanced package that is very hard to resist, there must be a reason for a 2yr waiting list on a 430spider, cant just be some flashy piece of junk, the wealthy arent stupid either, they didnt get wealthy being stupid so i highly doubt they would buy a product that is not worth their dollar.

There will always be that rich snob in the ferrari you want to punch, but alot of these guys are fanatics.

if thats what it takes to beat you around the track then thats exactly what Ferrari will do with their supercars...i dont understand why you find this undesirable. First of all if you could afford an Enzo, you most certainly would have money left over to buy a mustang and drag race it. Or whatever other car for whatever other purpose you want for the day

    i'd just drive the enzo
