Nice! It really is amazing the amount of detail you have put into this + past models. You really must take time putting these together, it jooks so neat! I could never have the time and patience to do it. I would throw it out the window when one of the parts stuck to my fingers

I used to have that problem until I built my new workshop. It's in the basement - no windows!

Nice..............Quite a while just to install the turbo and air intake. I would never have the patience to do it that good.

Carsnut - I actualy thought that I was moving pretty quickly. The last two models I've built required 1600 hours (over two years) and 750 hours (over 11 months) respectively. I figure I'll get this one done in less than 9 months. That's almost a record for me.

wow.....1600 hours?! damn, how many parts do your 1:8 scale cars have? 1500?

They usually include 2000+ parts. The 1600 hour project was a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II. There were 875 individual pieces in the wheels alone and the entire body and interior were scratch-built. Now that was a project.

Next time you post a photo, could you put, say, an ordinary 1/24 scale model next to it so we can get an idea of the size?
