    Mitsubishi Concept X 2005

    Mitsubishi Motors Exhibits at 39th Tokyo Motor Show

    Tokyo, September 28, 2005 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will be showing a number of concept cars, a proprietary next-generation electric vehicle (MIEV) and other technologies, rally machines, welfare cars and current production models at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show. Held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture just outside Tokyo, the 39th Tokyo Motor Show is open to the public from October 22 through November 6, with press and media days October 19 and 20.

    Mitsubishi Motors will be exhibiting a total of 17 cars (14 during press days) on its stand. Special show models include: the MITSUBISHI Concept-X, a concept car with styling that raises the bar on performance car looks, boasts Mitsubishi's 4WD-based Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC1) vehicle dynamics control system, and is the very embodiment of "driving pleasure";

    Same nice front as at the Sportback Concept. Hopefully the next generation of Mitsubishi's line-up will look like this

    Looks like a hint to the next generation Evolution, i.e., hood vents, big wing, large front opening, sedan.

    hey wait... concept X? and how many lancer evo generations do we have?

    btw, the spypic of this car was shown quite a long time a go, also on ucp - from some taiwan website

    imo interior sucks, i mean it'd be good if it'd be a coupe but all in all it's four door saloon

    putting racing seats at the rear isn't good idea either

    Hmmmm. Minus the wing, the back is just an Altezza
