    Thanks

For the non-Aussies who may not be too familiar with this car, here's a bit of info on the Mk1 - I have the Mk2 which has a 6 speed box instead of the 5 speeder. Performance figs are around 0-60mph in 5.9-6.0 secs, 0-400m in around 14.0-14.2.

Can't be bothered posting them all, so just take a look at this thread - there's also some scanned in pics of a Performance BMW magazine shoot for the same car.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I couldn't be bothered starting a new one
The XR6T is now gone and has been replaced by this:

It's an 05 RX8 Luxury Edition in Strato Blue. Awesome ride! Not as quick as the Ford in a straight line but handles awesomely and is just a much better ride overall. Easily the best car I have ever owned.

And in keeping with this thread's theme, here are a coupe more group shots taken at a recent photo shoot (last one's my favourite):

Pretty cool and eclectic collection of cars there. I <3 the M5 and 996.

    Not an M5, but a 535iS.

What's your RX8 doing with the euro boys?
Met a fair few of the cars in those photos, good owners too.

EDIT: I didn't even realise that you're Vinnie on ECCA, nice to see you here.

Whatever, I couldn't really see it, I could just barely make out an M-badge on the grille. It's still hot.

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately I had to remove one of the images because it was too wide for the sensitive UCP moderators.

Saus3, yep it's me - been here for a while but don;t post here very often. Usually only if I get really bored... who are you? LOL

As per the message sent, DrG ... your image was wider than the rules said. Nothing to do with "sensitivity"

You were only asked to use the attachment system, which is a better solution for all involved. Please put it back up as an attachment as it IS a very nice pic. If you put the other ones up as attachments too, it makes pages load faster and means the image is retained in UCP forever for the enjoyment/appreciation/recognition of all

Matra I won't get into an argument with you about this and I do respect the rules but don't you think a warning was a bit harsh? And why wasn't there a reply option on your PM?

Anyway, here 'tis in a UCP friendly format...

The "new improved" red/yellow card system eases the workload on the mods and instead of having to pm and put a note in the mod forum of a problem being handled, we got a simple click on the card and tick the box. Didn't know it didn't have a reply option and Wouter should consider this as an improvement. I concur an easy reply option for an apology or question makes for a better "customer experience"

What mods have you done to the RX-8 ?
Mine has all the ProDrive bits, but the exhaust isn't quite as throaty as the Borla.
