I love Ray Ban, but like Matt, I lose or break them very often. I bought a $10 buck pair about 4 years ago and still have them!!! That's a miracle!!! I always wear sun glasses if it's sunny out, not that the sun hurts my eyes...I just look so damn good in them!!.

I've only ever had 2 pairs of sunglasses (3 if you include the ones from about 4 years old with the flowers on the side ), the first only broke because I collided with a rather large man whilst skiing and they went flying, with him on top of them. Those were $15 AUS, and I had those for 3 years. I now have a metal rimmed $50 AUS pair, they're incredibly well sitting, they actually look good on me and feel about 100 times better then my mum's new $250 brand name sunnies. Cheap but solid sunnies all the way.
    Watches are a different matter!

Since I needed prescription glasses 100% of the time until Jan this year when I got laser correction, you can imagine it was a must to have shades (also with prescription) if I went to the beach or somewhere sunny.

I've had a number of cheapos (with prescription), then Police (also with prescription) and now I'm using Byblos. I also like Oakley and Ray Ban but most their models don't suit me I've liked Oakley for a long time and even had the first shades they made (15 years ago); they were designed for cycling (think they were called Pilots).

I usually canīt drive without them if it's sunny and much less during a sunset. I even got ambar shaded glasses to drive at night, for those single lane, two way roads, and those jerks that don't lower their high beams.
