    When you are about to drive a bike that spits flames, what's the crash helmet for if you are wearing a t-shirt?

    That's my thought as well. Seems that bike isn't supposed to actually go down the strip but rather just sit there with a chock in front of the wheel and shoot flames.

    Maybe .. but judging by those gum trees in the background it's a pic from aussie, so you never know what is 'acceptable'

    I'll not soon forget local legend Roscoe McGlashan. Back in the '80s he ran a drag bike with a rocket engine, eventually banned from every track in the country!

    Then he built a rocket-powered go-kart .. 253mph (still a world record)
