    I'll be the 1st to give a serious reply.

    I consider the RX-8 a youngster since its only a few years old. Compared to other cars, it could still be considered a toddler.

    As a "child" of its father, the RX-7, yes, its still young. It'll most likely enter its older childhood after its next re-vamp or after a few more years.

    I consider the RX-8 has a great youngtimer considering its a pretty nice sports car if you consider it that like I do.

    He wants to know what we consider what car we consider a youngtimer. As in, a car that is still new to the world unlike the Z models, or S2000's creators, the S800 and S500 and such.

    in historic motorsports youngtimers are considered to have been built after 1970. and probably nothing built after 1980 qualifies, so in short, anything between 1970 and 1980.
