I've done a light search, but as far as I know there isnt a thread like this already. Mods feel free to rename it.

Quite simple. Post a pic of your desk and your pc or your workspace for us all to see. Sure to come up with some interesting photos

1 widescreen 19" with 5ms response for gaming. The other for surfing the net and chatting etc. Saves alot of time

i find that too, i often go into advanced search just to be sure, but i still end up browsing stuff, no worrys!

After looking through the old thread and this one, I am surprised at the lack of Macs seen. I guess I thought more people on here were Mac people.

Maybe its because I have been living in the Telecommunications/Journalism building for two long (Two depts that recommend Macs)

I'm still PC but I will be going Mac in a couple years' time.

It's not that difficult.

Go to the search drop down menu, select advanced search. This will open up a new window. When you are in the new window, select 'search by title'. In the query, just put in the word "desktop", it is the 2nd result to come up, just behind this thread.

It isn't a big deal, I was just pointing out that there is another thread which wasn't very difficult to search for.

I'm just getting annoyed at reposted threads every other day, especially when it's reposted as something like "OFFICIAL UCP Video Thread", or something like that.

I'll merge 'em in a bit. Now, nothing to see here kids, carry on.

Probably because people on this forum are intelligent Macs are - in my experiences - wastes of money.
They cost much more for same spec which will run slower than XP with same specs (not sure about Vista but probably the same as OS), they do get viruses, They're overhyped and i just generally don't like them, but its up to people to make their own choices, i'm just somebody who doesn't like Macs.

I think a well-specced PC will do fine rather than a Mac But i understand why people buy Macs, just wouldn't myself... Matter of opinion
