to me, the best 5 supercars are: (in no particular order)

The Ariel Atom,The McLaren F1, The Enzo , The Jaguar XJ220, and the Koenigsegg CCR. which doesn´t mean these cars changed the way supercars are made,a list of that nature should include of course the 300SL as many people have already pointed out, to me it would also include the NSX because of its famous user-friendliness and reliability , maybe the Porsche 959 for its use of composite materials, The Lambo Miura should definitely be there because of its mid transversal engine. and, in my opinion, the Pagani Zonda is already changing people´s minds about what to expect in a supercar and certainly will influence future developments.

Rev, the only thing proved when they raced the GT1 was that it was an utter pig!

My top five (in no order) would be

    Pagani Zonda F - The conniseur's supercar
Koennigsegg CCR - Have you seen one? Have you heard one?!
MB Road Cars EOS - The new McLaren F1
Lamborghini Jota - The first 'Challenge Stradale' type car?
Ferrari F40 - The original hyper car, has less power than some BMWs, still the badger's nadgers
