Well what about the people that CANT afford a tuned Panoz. It should be that your run has to be in free run mode, that way EVERYTHING is equal, and state what assists can be on depending on whether they were available on the car...

Hot Lap is in free mode, which means that the only Hot Lap there is is in Free Mode. I thought people who hadn't figured that out already would be able to anyway.
I also said that driving aids can be used, but I'm not sure if you read that...
I, personally, think that one week is plenty of time to unlock the Panoz in either career or arcade mode. It took me about a week and a half to beat career mode, about 3 days to unlock the Panoz.

Did I not say it specifically enough? Do you actually have to waste 3 seconds of your time to fill in the blanks? I provided the information necessary to create a valid run, I don't understand what your problem is. Nobody said we're using career for the runs. Using career for racing would be stupid. Sometimes you just have to use career to unlock and modify cars.

Its as simple as that, not "pick whatever assists you want", not "if you can afford it, use suspension upgrades". Some people arent going to have that or have the time to aquire it...

On your pickyness of 'pick whatever aids you want,' it's a way for the driver to adjust the car to his personal liking. EVERYONE is equal in this right, becuase EVERYONE has the ability to change these three options.
If you don't like it, tough. The game's been out for months, and just because you've played it a few hours less than some of the others here doesn't mean you should come in and derail on online game. If more people are in your scenario, then it should be considered chaning the rules of the game and of this run.

What level of career are you on? The Panoz is unlocked at 25. By that time I had more than enough money to buy several and modify them.
Assists allow a driver to tune the car on a basic level to their preference. Boohoo. It's no different than most real races anyway.

Well, assits/aids are pretty straightforward. I don't need an education on it, although maybe you do. Decide whether you want ABS, TCS or STM. It's personal preference. Some people like some aids on, and some don't. If you can't figure that out, you have a problem.
And for the sake of this competition, we're using a 'bullshit' car. Either
A-Spend your virtual cash on a Panoz, or
B-Shut up and leave us alone.
