Not really, yes "pressure" is applied, but generally they are all set up with a seperate NON-GOVERNMENT complaints procedure. So it isn't that easily controlled.

You're applying the standards in your environs to the rest.

We are real. We know the limits, we know the controls, we know the influences. It was written in all seriousness and honesty. If you can explain the controsl on British news channels, German news channels, Swedish news channels etc etc then I'm happy to discuss further

Your assertion that there is unbiased news is too laughable.

and yet that is not what I asserted.

I asserted that advertising revenue bias to news was bad.

Please read things before commenting on them.

Get back to me on the grasp of other country news systems and controls and we can discuss this in another thread or egg-nog will slap my botty again

And I asserted that there are other favors abound in all aspects of business including news inspite of controls which promote bias, there may be less bias but there is still bias. I don't doubt there are better systems and netowk practices.

I don't need to explore other countries news workings, all I need to understand is human nature.

The industrial age and capitalism are VERY new trends in social impact and aren't proven to be the best. If it can survive 50,000 years then it has
