What I don't think you quite understand Werty (Amongst other republicans) is that you just can't expect to go out and kill someone, no matter how bad they are reported to be, without some sort of trial, as Matra said, and expect to get away with it.

The International Criminal Court has procedures to apprehend and hold prisoners awaiting trial. But you wont' know that as Americans dont get to know about it coz GWB didn't want to sign up to it.

Still, these procedure would have to involve some sort of killing without trial, Osama's men would not just let some foreign court take away their leader, nor would Osama himself go without a fight to the death.

I beleive I know why GWB did not sign up for something like this. He realizes how stupid its purpose is.

ANY attempt to apprehend a criminal for charges carries a risk of injury to the police and the criminal.
And it's pure conjecture that he would go wihtout a fight to the death.
Look at the FACTS, even Saddam didnt' go that route !!!!!
And even if he did , that's not relevant as at least it is a legal act of apprehension.
