Have you got DivX installed? Its best to get most ofd the sound and video drivers installed

Does other sounds work, or is it just the file?

i get no sound either, but i can get sound by playing music, im about to try it on my pda

Restart your computer or update your sound drivers. Probably a restart will do, because it always hapens to me

some divxs get encoded using one of the many official/unofficial mp4 audio encoders. The biggest problem in recent years If Adam's divx pack doesn't solve it ( it's had a recent update ) then the other option is it may be encoded with one of the many mobile phone audio codecs Best to run GSpot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ on the file and it will identify the codec it was encoded with and then get the appropraite codec bundle to suit,

Can you play music and all the rest on the PC?

If you can, it might be a corrupt download that you got Can happen sometimes.
