Altima SE-R, hands down because I was told by a salesman that I could never not test drive a mazda 6 once because he thought I couldn't afford one and didn't want to waste his time by letting me drive it

I'm a real boy!
Despite the fact that we don't get Altima's here I#d have it. I just think it looks classier and more sophisticated than the MazdaSpeed 6 or Mazda 6 MPS as we call it over here.

ok cheese-tacular the altima has just enough power, you don't want too much power or you will hurt your moms neck when you take her to the mall to shop for sissy gifts, stick to the mini van brother
Altima by far. i know fomr personal experience that and SER is on of the nicest out there. c'mon mate, mazda is just a sorry excuse for sports car, Altima all the way mate.
Altima, love the torquey 3.5 V6
aww good question.... well nissan is always on top of my list.. i drive an N/A s-14 ..(240sx 96).. any way..but AWD vs fw.. awd allways takes it.. and turbo? just turn the bust up.. and im sure you can keep nose - nose with the SE-R. and im sure beat it... and the 6 looks more attractive.. in my opinion... the only thing good from mazda is the rx 7's and the mx-5.. but if i would have to choose..i go with the mazda 6...but i wouldnt go buy one though....
Turbo; a cars best friend.....
Isn't this supposed to be in car comparison?

is 280 ft-lbs of torque from the mazdaspeed not enough for you?? hahahaOriginally Posted by gikaseixas
just have a read maybe it will change your mind about the mazda 6 mps and also take into acount that this is the aus version which suffers from lowwer octane fuels and only has 190kw and 380nm (if you can be bothered reading it all just rad the second paragraph)...

Subaru Legacy 2.5GT over either of them! AWD+turbo+3400lbs=sex on wheels! Easy to tune, looks classy, Subaru reliability, Scooby ftw! (I drive a legacy if you can't tell)
On paper their quite similar. We traded a MPS at work recently and it was quick, and i thought the build quality was alright. My opinion is essentially void in the sense i dont know much about the SER but comparing two cars that are very similar on paper with the obvious difference of AWD, i'd have to opt for the handling advantage of the MPS.

This thread is close to 2 years old. Get over it.
By the way why is your 6MPS rated at 274bhp when ours is rated at 260bhp?
