    Luxurioux: 5/10.

The image is good...but I wouldn't have my school logo as my avatar considering what's available! I'm not a fan of the colours much either, sorry.

9.5/10 but add a single pixel black border to it and it'd hit 10. Trsut me, it makes a difference

Just zoom in and select a one pixel border around the edge using the square selection tool and fill the layer with black. It'll take you less than a minute.

Thank-you kind Sir, expect an avatar modification this evening.

I'm going to ask Sauc3 about yours before I comment...the shot's bloody good though!

8/10, it's not bad but the 911 is the real deal.

Square selection tool? Marquee? I can use the marquee thing to get a 1-pixel box with a white line around it, but I can't fill it or anything...

...you (or anyone else) wouldn't mind doing a step-by step guide would you?

You can use the single row/column marquee tools to select the edges. Hold tab to select more than one column/row.
Once you've selected the areas, go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Colour.
    Hope that helps.

You got that 10 Clivey. The border just seperates it from the grey of the forum.
