it looks like the guy who designed the TT got his inspiration partly from this one. It was actually a Dutch attempt to enter the semi suoercar league, but the project faltered after 10-15 cars were completed. I shot one picture of the car once, somewhere during the end of the eighties

    Eh?

henk4, admit it already – you have a secret passion for Audi TT, because you mention the damn thing way too often.

26 Hyenas were produced. The plan was to build 60-90 cars in this specification, and maybe up to 500 more affordable cars with less kevlar, carbon fibre etc. But Lancia didn't back up Koot (the Dutch Lancia dealer) technically and after 26 sets stopped selling him the Delta Integrale parts, on which the car was based. So the project failed.
BTW, the photo couldn't have been taken in the eighties since the first public appearence of Hyena was in January 1992.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

you are probably right... it was taken at the Autotron in Rosmalen, when they still had interesting exhibitions there, it is a long time ago though.

Looks better in Red than grey.

    The rear's a bit ugly.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I checked all available sources and around half of them says 26, half says 24. So let's just say that 24-26 cars were made.
