    RUF Cayenne

From the Dec issue of road and track, new ruf rt 12, beautiful car, hit 217 on the autobahn in the middle of the night, but it also say ruf has made a modified cayenne, with 550 hp and 649 ft lb of torque, top speed of 180 about. What do you think of an ruf suv? sacriledge?

Actually not really. People might not like the idea of a Porsche SUV but RUF has always tuned most if not all the models of Porsche. What makes you think that it won't tune the Cayenne? The turbo is fast...

I don't mind it at all, but your crazy if you'd drive something with the aerodynamics of a brick at 180.

dont be so quick to judge

    Cayene: Cd=0.39
    Enzo: Cd=0.36
    McLaren F1: Cd=.32

of course, the numbers on the supercars are from the generation of downforce while on the cayene its simply due to the large area. but, with similar power...

still, its a stupid idea. the turbo was fast enough as it was.

It's not a new engine. That thing is about 15 years old.
