Finally, after two years of meticulous - and, actually, very expensive too - restoration, last week my Giulia GTC 105.29 (RHD) AR*760005 started running on the road again. ... It was really exciting!
These are the first pictures of the car I took outside!
Sincerely
Giovanni
Fantastic. that's a real cabrio. Congratulations. Did you restore to full standard specs, or did you added something?

An amazing car, Giovanni. Giulia GT is my absolute number one, so I simply adore this one

The car has been restored by taking into account all the constructor specifications. Only true NOS Alfa Romeo parts have been used. As far as the body is concerned, repairs have been done by saving till the smallest portions of the original sheets. The sole detail that seems not to fit with the pristine Alfa Romeo characteristics deals with the upholstery, which was probably re-made in true black leather (instead of dark grey elastic vinyl fabric) by one of the former three owners. But, as it is difficult to know by the technical literature how really were the optional preparations offered to the buyers by the constructor, maybe Alfa Romeo - in those far middle '60s - could propose even leather for the GTC interiors with an adequate price increase. Nevertheless, I preferred to leave the upholstery as found in my car since it looks very "British" as a RHD Giulia GTC for the UK market, although Italian in origin, should look like.
Kind regards
Giovanni
Seen this one in the wild (Knokke ,Belgium) @ the start of the national classic tour 2006 (it was not a competitor)

Guess what is sitting in my garage after I hauled it off outta a barn!
Yes it is 4 sale. Needs restoring, and yes it is a real GTC. "Superleggera Touring" is one small metal sign on the firewall and the other reads GTC.
Located in Germany. Feel free to contact me.
Cheers.

Try to get the pics tomorrow. Was busy Car Farming these days!
Alfa hunting the REDNECK way! The stuff's still out there! Might not be "The Hemi In The Barn" but still a nice find. '72 2000 GT.
F... the upload service isn't workin' at the moment. I try again. tomorrow
Ah, now it's workin'
Get out little Alfa, the sleep is over!
Let's drag! The rear brakes are blocked!
Finally out, with the help of "Brutus" my '74 F 250 4x4. Reminds me a bit of the "CARS" movie, with "Mater" or "Hook" and the Fiat 500 called "Luigi"
After lot's of WD40 the brakes were still locked. so we dragged it out of the farm, on the street, where like in a "Simpsons" episode suddenly there was traffic like crazy in this sleepy village. I was in reverse in the truck and the Alfa was drifting after with the brakes still locked all the way through the little town. After a few hundred meters, another shot of WD40 and a big hook and they were open. hehe The whole street was full of black stripes and dirt. Other drivers just lookin' stupido.
Don't mess with the car farmers!
Hi Giovannt. U have mail!
This is my own GTC

Dear Monsieur GD91,
Along with my congratulations for your "giallo ocra" Giulia GTC, let me kindly ask you for the possibility to have the ID Number of your car since I am trying to list all the survived Giulia GTCs worldwide. More information about other existing GTCs in France will be appreciated.
Kind regards
Giovanni
