    Lightbulb Introducing the A6

Not so long after the 5er from Bavaria comes the new A6 from Audi equipped with a new front side that closely reminds us with the Nuvolari Quattro concept vehicle previously presented at 2003 Geneva motor show letting the new A6 show off among crowds in the 2004 Geneva motorshow!
A set of both diesel & petrol units will be available for the car as follows:
    Petrol units include a 4.2 litre V8 with an output of 335 bhp(WOW) in addition to a 3.2 & 2.4 V6s developing 255 & 177 bhp.
While the diesel units will range from a 225bhp 3.0-litre TDI to a tiny 140 bhp 2.0 liter TDI.
Of course it is not unusual to get a wide range of choices concerning the gearboxes as U may either get ur self a 6 speed manual, tiptronic or a multitronic CVT unit.A quattro version will undoubtfully be welcome along side other drivetrains.
Prices will be announced next April leaving Audi's enthusiasts sleepless for almost 2 months while 5er Bimmers & E-class Mercers will suffer some nightmarish days......Or won't they?

When did Chris Bangle transfer to Audi ??

That front grille is just UGLY.
They need to either take the silver surround off in a Bently-esque way or redesign it.

Righ now it looks lie a hole waiting to fit the grille into.
Shame as I've always liked the Audi under-stated look.

Is that the final car ???

I agree with Matra, the grille is ugly, in my opinion too big... I love audis, they are great cars..... maybe this audi should be object for the next chopper/painters competition to see who can fix the grille to make it look nicer

I think it looks great, especially the backlights look much better than the ones on the previous one. The grille is a little wierd, but it'll probably look good when you see it for real. It looks a lot better than the 5-series with it's ugly headlamps.

OK, so I picked up neg rep points for suggesting the grillle was too big and for me looked ugly.

    Well I've gone mid-way.
Here's a nicer balanced front end - well I think so.
I think I may play a little more with an even more radical grille change.
I came to like the traditional Audi circles merged into the surround.

Anyway, what do you think ?
Could/should they have done better ????

what you got negative points for voicing your opinion?...
anyway i think audi were just slightly too conservitive with this design. i definitly think they have improved upon the front, but i still like the rear of the old especially the RS6.
BTW, anyone see some audi A8L W12 in this?

Well the person didn't have the decency to put any comments or the courage to sign it - some of us do and think it only fair.
    Anyway, not my problem

Always been Audi's problem in "pushing the envelope".

I agree that at least they've had the courage to try to do something different.
But I can almost hear the design brief now.
"We want it doifferent but with the same 'image'." and "It has to 'look' like our Audi's do. "
    Marketing with no COURAGE
As has been already stated, it might look better in real life.......

The front grill is,in my opinion, great. It is only a matter of time until we get used to new Audis. At least,it indicates that winds of change are still blowing up.Otherwise,it would have been just a case of replicas & copycat designs!

Front grill is pretty ugly but it will grow on me im sure. I always thought those Audi style Tail lights look like the Commodore VX 2001 but maybe Audi had them before, probably did.
