Well it is a pity only Bush finds the current situation and the notion of indiscriminate bombing amusing. If it isn’t true one wonders why the Poms have got their undies so bunched?

Surely, its not who he's said he would like to bomb, its the fact that the leader of the most powerful country in the world, who actually has weapons of mass destruction, can so casually throw around the concept of 'bombing people', when his whole term has been 'fighting' these people to bring about 'peace' to the world. Tell me you can see there is something blatently wrong in his ideology, its such a double-sided policy...the man has issues, and sadly he's in a position where he can have his whims carried out.

SO is it OK if your local Police Chief said he'd like to bed 10 year old boys ?
Even if it was a joke ??
Are you GETTING it yet ???? Or do you elevate a "president" to being god-like and above all that ?? Or do you elevate just THIS President to that height ?

Al Jazeera broadcasts a lot of the terrorist messages following or before attacks, so I can understand why they would want to bomb it.

But seriously, bombing a TV station, especially one which is so predominantly anti-western in make-up is simply asking for trouble.

it's a dumb, flippant comment to have even thought, let alone allow to be recorded.

And also hold him personally to account for the dumb decisions he makes regarding who gets killed in Iraq/Afghanistan.

He's quite happy to prosecute, but don't shine the spotlight on him

.....But Al Jazeera gets the tapes directly, so technically, under the New Australian anti-terror laws, anyone rebroadcasting those tapes could be arrested under Sedition charges.

It's the fact they deal directly (Or indirectly, a good journalist never gives up their source) with terrorists that makes them so 'Interesting' the the Bush Administration.

    There you go.

I'm sure the US is desperate to either get informants within Al Jazeera (They probably do already) or to find out these terrorist organisations and trace the tapes back to them.

God knows they love their injustices; they'll probably just arrest the courier regardless.
