The gearing is a bit too tall but it has good grip and neutral handling.

I'm going to attempt a run in a stock '49 VW Beetle 1100 Standard. N2 tires, removed the mods, runs 29 HP.

    12.42.562.

LOL, and I was pushing as hard as the poor bugger (mind the pun) would go.

To continue my VW parade, I'll try it in a mk.1 GTI. Also stock, N2 tires.

Hurray! under 10 minutes! just. 9.59.104. I could probably cut that down with practice.

I'm going to drive the other small roadsters too like MR2, FIAT etc. The Miata is almost impossible...the slightest move of the steering wheel and the rear breaks loose...way loose!

    cool

the mg just doesnt appeal to me in any aspect

    edit:

i bought a brand new integra, and did the oil change, beat my old laptime with it: 8'43.177. so thats a full 3 seconds faster then Arcade mode. Have to try the MG in Gran Turismo mode aswell It really does make a difference! So if you want to be fast, buy the car

also bought a Lancia Stratos, insane drifting! 8'36.879

I've just built myself a 500bhp 'Sagaris' from a T350C, I'll post all the mods when I've figured out the set-up. It's a bit fiddly - trying to reign in some mega turn-in oversteer! Or at least make it so that it doesn't then snap to terminal understeer mid-bend!

I'm thinking Radoman needs some more Nurburgring time, just did a lap with the '76 golf, and managed a 9'33.216

Clean laps here was ment to be read as no wheelspin/powerslides or understeer. All the laps were within the guidelines for the thread. Just not as fast as I would have liked.

    Sorry about the slow reply.
