Best I could do in the RS4 was 8'22.276...This beast is quirky, it practically has no turn in but if you get on the brakes then let off it goes into a drift...and in any case you have to lift the throttle to get it to pivot during the turn. Not a sweet ride at all.

just did 3 complete laps with the csl (started about 5 times)

best i can manage so far is 7:54.987, still with room for improvement. But damn, what a nice ride! Perfectly balanced!

The only thig about that is....if you drive in GT mode you are allowed the oil change which gives a few extra HP, in Arcade mode you will lose that advantage unless a bit of Quicktune is allowed. Am I right?

Quiktune wont be allowed under any circumstances, you'd have to buy the car in GT mode then. The extra HP gained with an oil chance, wont matter that much. And if you think it does, just save some pennys and buy the car in GT mode

i did the CSL lap in Arcade mode, just chose a nice black one, put on the luxury tires, and look at how close my time is to pamoer's time (which he drove in GT mode)

I've allowed the arcade mode because of people not wanting to buy every car in the game.

It really isn't that critical since this isn't a comp., I just wanted to clear the air.

One flaw I see already...according to Porsche the Cayman laps in 8:20 which is within a second of the Boxster S.
