Sorry mate, would have taken a photo but my cameras being lent to someone. I love this car, handles really nicely. As a comparison, if I can be bothered, may run this car with the same settings but with N2, SM (already done), and RH tyres. Dont hold your breath for it though!

By the way, in the rules you say

"Two wheels must be on the TARMAC at all time"

Does kerb therefore count as having wheels off then? Not that it matters much as the kerbing around the 'Ring is too narrow to take the whole car, but just aiding clarity.

8.58.401 in Porschenut's Golf GTi setup. First lap was dreadful @ 9.09.xxx but by the end of that lap I was getting used to the car. First time I've used N2 tyres also, it's fun.

I'm taking some time to get used to the N2s before I post times. Braking is the biggest difference I percieve. It's actually the first time in GT4 that I'm having to modulate full-on braking (to avoid blocking), and in that sense it's more real.

I've taken out the M3 and GTI and it seems to me that with more horsepower the N2s pose a bigger challenge. Let's see the experts post N2 times with the Zonda, or even better, the Ruf Yellowbird.

Ok, I'm going to throw in my towel; my very fast towel (I assume this counts as a modified road car), a TVR Cerbera Speed 12.

It's got the supercharger, full race suspension and custom transmission. R3 tires. No wing, and I've got assists on low settings. (I'm using the pad and driving this thing fast without some help will take me a solid hour of driving to perfect). It makes 1082 HP and 1006 ft-ibs. (sweet jesus!)

Well, I'll do a couple laps and post my best time.

    ......

Well, my first try was unsuccessful, I slide off after it caught air down that second long straight not even a quarter of the way through

Suspension is really stiff. I'll try again

Holy shit! 7.09.672! And, in violation of the rules, I went off a grand total of 5 times! none of the times did I "spin off", I just ran off the road at insane speeds and careened off a wall, lost some speed, and got back on the track. Also, because this thing is so insanely fast I held back a bit. Also, the fifth and final time was down the final back stretch, where it kinks to the left and there's a narrow run off road of some kind... I flew off at 378 KPH right into edge of the wall coming to a complete stop. It probably would have been a titch under 7 if I hadn't have done that!

I'll try and post some laps without off-track drama later, but in the mean time I'll use a car that's a tad more sensible, now.

    Zonda...Yellowbird on N2's?

Did a couple laps in the CSL...yes the braking is very different on N2's, the tires begin squealing as soon as you touch the brakes. The rears will definitely break loose if you don't modulate the throttle...but the drifting is fun also!

I decided to go all out, threw some N2's on a Zonda C12 and it was soooo hard, ive never tried N2s before so I was having to break miles ahead. As it was the first time, wasnt used to it at all and didnt bother completing the lap...
