    This car has gone through many generations and body shapes over the course of its life, but is still produced in the original body style (as well as the newest one).

    To give more of a hint, the car has been produced for over two decades.

    The Mk5 Golf is here - The car is also still being produced in the original Mk1 body style, sold as the "CitiGolf" in South Africa.

    its got a mk3 rear, mk2 interior and a mk1 front in an article i read in EVO mag recently

    I'm not so sure about that... the rear looks Mk1 and the interior looks Mk4.

    in brasil there is still being made vw T1 as a volkswagen kombi



    in some countries volkswagen is really still people's car
