    Ferrari Photo Galleries

    looking good. keep it up. how did you make the seatbelts? are they fabric or plastic and did you do the sewing pattern?

    Carsnut - I made the seatbelts out of 6, 8 and 10mm ribbon that I bought at a local craft store and, yes, I sewed each one by hand using white cotton thread.

    Rev - I'm 5 1/2 months into the build at this point. I figure she'll be done and ready for her debut by February '06. The seat belt harnesses took half a day.

    wow..............last time I tried sewing seatbelts for 1/24 cars the needle was too large. tips? did you buy the PE buckles(how much?) or were they included in the kit?

    Cars - I've never even tried to sew belts for a 1/24 piece. All the hardware for the harnesses came with the kit.

    the ribbon for 1/24 cars seems hard to sew considering it's too small. can't find PE buckles at my hobby store. anyone got tips on making them?
